About the West Wight Potter 19 Sailboat

The West Wight Potter 19 is a beloved pocket cruiser designed by Herb Stewart and built by International Marine. In production since 1979, the Potter 19 is one of the most popular trailerable sailboats ever made. At just under 19 feet with a lifting keel that reduces draft to 6 inches, the Potter is the ultimate gunkholer — capable of beaching, launching from any ramp, and exploring waters inaccessible to larger boats. Despite its diminutive size, Potter owners have completed remarkable voyages including crossings of the Gulf of Mexico and passages to Catalina Island. An extraordinarily active owners' community and annual rendezvous make the Potter as much a social club as a sailboat.
