Born from Germán Frers' 1992 design brief, this Swedish-built cruiser represents Hallberg-Rassy's signature approach to coastal and offshore sailing: meticulous hand-finished construction, thoughtful layout, and a thoroughly seaworthy hull. Built in two distinct variants — the original Mk I and the improved Mk II (from hull 307, 2006) featuring a revised transom, lighter twin-spreader rig, and refined interior — 356 examples were completed through 2009, one of the yard's longer production runs. The beamy fin-keel hull and balanced spade rudder deliver crisp, responsive handling while keeping motion comfortable offshore.
